Shiny Media is a London-based web-based-publisher. We have been in business since August 2003.

What we do - Produce high quality websites written by very talented writers that cover areas like technology, fashion and TV.

What makes your websites special? - Our websites are a beguiling mixture of news, feature type content and fun. We try to be the first with the latest fashion and tech news and we also stuff our sites full of hints and tips and top tens. We don't take ourselves too seriously either.

Are you anywhere else on the web? - We don't like to talk too much about it but we also have a huge social media footprint with our YouTube video channel regularly puling in over a million viewers per month. We also have a very significant presence on Twitter.

What makes you different from other publishing companies?

Well, we are constantly innovating.

We were the first to company to launch a commercial blog network in the UK

We were among the first publishers to create and upload videos on YouTube

We pioneered live blogging of events in the UK as well as near live video reports from those events.

We were also one of the first companies to recognise the importance of Twitter as not just a medium of communication but also as a place to share our content.
